We are going to have some fun Faceswapping in Photoshop. This will teach you how to use LAYER MASKS, BLEND LAYERS, and do COLOR ADJUSTMENTS to match layers.
Choose a high resolution photograph (Google Images search for large) to use. You can use a celebrity photo, or a photograph of your own. I will leave that decision up to you.
Tools & Features to use:
Layer Masks
Lasso Tool
Brush Tool (on layer masks)
Layer Blending Options
Layer Transparencies
FACTORS TO KEEP IN MIND:
Faces in the photograph should have the same pose profile (side, front, angled)
Use MASKING LAYERS.
Do not use the ERASER TOOL, you will learning to MASK with the BRUSH TOOL.
Use a soft edge BRUSH (50% Hardness).
A hard edged BRUSH will make the faces look too cut and pasted.
Use only High Resolution Images (minimum of 1024px x 768px).
Take your time removing the edges of the images.
Save your work as a JPEG. Not a PSD. Use the screen shot below to see how to save.
